Just when Isiah Harwell starting playing better, he took a blow to the head from Texas Tech’s Donovan Atwell and was taken out of game, after laying on the court for a couple of minutes.
I hope it is nothing serious and Harwell quickly recovers.

UH might need an adjustment by the equipment guy before we play TT again. Everybody gets cups.
Harwell injury doesnt seem like something that would make him miss game… likely got the wind knocked out of him…
was bumped in the chest hard… nothing strong enough to break anything

I don’t know, man. He looked a bit woozy and had to be helped to the bench. I think he hit his head on the floor when he fell.

Yeah, he couldn’t stand up on his own - his legs were rubber. He may not have a concussion, but he got his bell rung in a big way.

He banged heads with Atwell… Atwell was rubbing the back of his head & Harwell got hit in the mouth/nose… then he looked like he had taken a right crosscwalking to the locker room.
Yes… he played at least one season maybe two

At the game last night, I couldn’t tell if Harwell had a busted lip/tooth issue or if he was shaking off a concussion. I was following the ball and didn’t see what type of collision he had. Was it someone’s elbow, forearm, head-bumps, or something else? I hope he comes back soon. I’m no expert, but I sense that he’s on the verge of taking his game up a few notches. He moves well, has a pretty shooting touch, and looks like he gets “IT” on the court…in the right place and right time and ready to score. Get well soon!
