All your delusionals are true for most fan bases, but Notre Dame actually does have higher academic standards for athletes. It’s part of the reason they hardly have any 5-star recruits.

Indeed they do very much like Virginia.
Yeah, they keep telling everyone that. Zero doubt in my mind that they make exceptions.
I keep saying that high profile coaches and high nil players are about conspicuous consumption and status symbols, they don’t necessarily translate into wins and titles. ND, Army, Boise are showing that there’s always someone willing to do the job for good reasons when the money and status chasers go elsewhere.
