Really interesting video on home solar power. Guy has a Tesla solar roof and three powerwall batteries on a home in New Jersey.

Very thorough video…skip to about 18:30 for the financial/break even numbers. (Spoiler: about a 10 year payback & panels warranted for 25 years.)

Also very interesting info at about 28:30. I didn’t quite understand how big typical new car battery is…much bigger than home back-up batteries!

I’ve since bought out of the above contract. I got 8.5 cents from April-July and now at 11.4 for 39 months (also with $99 buyout).

Took a 12 month plan from Discount Power for 10.7 cents with $150 buyout.
