Maybe he lets his children make those decisions? Following in a legend’s footsteps is hard.
But also, do we know how many of them were offered to play here? I’m pretty sure the most recent one wasn’t. You don’t get to just play at UH because you’re a legacy.
I’d assume his daughter 20 years ago was because she was a big time recruit although I didn’t find evidence of one. It looks like Aziz was offered and ended up at Stanford. Hard to fault someone for choosing to go there.
The other two weren’t big time recruits at all.

We did offer Aziz. He looks like a good recruit, but not any better than what we got. Maybe CKS didn’t go after him very hard

I GUARANTEE that Hakeem urged Aziz to go to Stanford even though I bet Aziz wanted to play for CKS in FC.
