I’m still trying to get used to the “bend but don’t break” defense. My blood pressure really likes the “shut them down totally and never let them close to the goal line” defense. But we held SMU to 14 points LESS than number 6 ranked TCU did. If our offense continues steady improvement, and if Catalon has really found himself, then I think we run the table.

They tighten up in the red zone very well.

I don’t think Orlando wasn’t trying to bend, I think D’Onofrio is. At least that’s my take on why our corners are always playing so soft…except in the red zone.

MA and coaches more than measured up against Chad Morris, an excellent coach.
SMU no slouch team. Played TCU tough for 3Q’s.

Both O and D still finding their way, but significant progress.

Big Ed seemed to be limping in 4Q. But still playing all out. What a man/beast!!!
Hope he is okay.
