You have undeniable proof that both schools did the exact same thing.

Clearly you have to have “an angle” to think that both “sanctions” were appropriate. Now for those like SamHouston that thinks uta did not pay or need to pay players you can clearly see that indeed uta was paying players like every other Div I football program in the nation. This infatuation that we were with smu the worst of the bunch is again false, far from it.
These findings are just a snapshot of what was going on at the time in college football…But again the Cam Newton, Auburn pay out of more than $300k reiterates the fact that some programs get the hammer while others get a tap on the backside.
