We’ll see how UC does this year… I think they regress significantly.

Why? Great coaching, fan support and recruiting gives them as much chance as anyone
They lost 9 players to the NFL… I don’t think they’ve built their program to where they reload yearly.

We will find out. They may be rebuilding a bit this year but that will give them experience going to the Big 12

UC had around 30 seniors last year is another reason.

I am of the opinion that UC seems to have similar momentum as our basketball program, in that, yes, they’ve lost a lot of seniors but they are reloading. Most importantly, Fickell is still at the helm and has the program believing. I think they will be in the mix for the top of the AAC, along with us and UCF.

We seem to be overlooked as a football school. I think that is a mistake. We can win big in football. Do I think we can be an established “one of the very best in the nation” year in and year out like basketball? Probably not.
But we can establish ourselves as a top 20 program that is in the running for the Big 12 every year and every so often…who knows.
