Houston Astros 2023 Season on a daily roll

Ok…I feel another transmission coming through. Give me a minute.

How often do you hear Astros fans at MM cheer when Astros opponents get a clutch hit or make a great defensive play? Why is it wrong to expect the same from the Astros broadcasters? I don’t think the Astros broadcasters should ever sound excited when that happens. That’s not simply telling the listener what the situation is, that’s making it sound like a positive.

busseycoog, perhaps you don’t notice because it doesn’t bug you. I’m a lifelong Astros fan and it bugs me.

We must be listening to different broadcasts.

In the words of the great Robert Ford “SEE YOU LATER!”

Which is probably what Robert Ford would say if the Yankees offered him a job.

Albert Pujols was one of the best in the business, did that make him good for the Houston Astros?

Sir, did you just internet retire?

Albert or Luis?

Because Luis sucked and he was my Astro Buddy :smirk:

Corrected. I know I’m not the first to do that, it’s the Astros fan in me.

Just pointed out how you are incorrect, factually, in at least one aspect.

Here’s Ford with another one of his anti-Astros calls:

I almost felt sorry for the Mariners manager after that.

You feast on the A’s not try to eeck out a win.

Nice job Breggy

Can’t blame him for Abreu…The advanced scouts gave the green light.

Everyone thought it was a good move, me included…

Brantley was a trash move…I’ve lost all respect for “ Uncle Mike”.

And Montero was the worst move….dud was too old to give that contract to…especially based on one good year.

No other MLB team would have come anywhere close on $$$.

Crane better be willing to go over the Luxury Tax if needed next winter.

Hmmm
