Okert goes from mundane to dazzling.
I’m OK with a mundane middle reliever. If I don’t notice him, things are going well. ![]()
I saw a note that Wesneski had a short rehab outing yesterday - gave up 1 hit in 3 innings with no walks.
Right knee sprain….LOL
The dude himself said his arm was “fatigued”……
This was his agent asking for this to save face 100%.
I
Imai has to be close to a record for top line starters who couldn’t clear two innings. How many is that this year?
Teng!?
Lololololol
I swear the Astros organization has become a footnote for pandering to puss#%ies.
Espada and Brown need to go on waivers. How long can Brown milk this injury conundrum as an excuse for his failures??
But how do you really feel?
He didn’t even get to the gas can joke that Abreu is
They could not have made Alvarez look less intimidating if they tried.
Hello Kitty is helping “Chase the Fight”……the Astros have not quite engaged in the fight….but apparently they are still in pursuit of the fight.
What do you mean? I didn’t watch the game. He was 6 for 8 with a grand slam in the last 2 games.
Look at the image in the post he’s replying to.
Ah. I thought “they” was referring to the Twins
OT-not impressed with whoever redesigned the Twins unforms. I’m a closet Twins & Pirates fan btw.
I’m not impressed with those Twins uniform either, but their simplicity causes them to be superior to the gimmicky “home connect” clown clothes that many teams including the Astros wear.
Same here. I have family in MN. I fell in love with the Pirates back in the “We are Family” days.
Minnesota has the second-friendliest ballpark staff in the league, in my experience. Toronto is at the top.
Doing some scouting on the Rays and watching them throttling KC and checking out their offense. I hope the Astros pitching staff is ready for what the Rays are bringing. Very good hitting team and the leader of the AL East.
Pittsburgh and St Louis hold their own as far as beautiful settings and friendly staff. Toronto is a mustdo bucket list that I hope to catch in '27.
We just did a Yankees-Mets-Blue Jays turn on three consecutive days. Fortunately, the weather was great in Toronto and they had the roof open. It was also “Looney Dog Night” - their $1 hot dogs are actually very good, unlike the trashy stuff you get at Astros games. And these hot dogs have a cult following or something.
My best baseball trip so far was a 5 games in 5 days tour from Pittsburgh to Detroit to Chicago to Milwaukee to Minnesota (skipped Cleveland because we’d already been and skipped the White Sox because I still hated them too much). I’m down to the ChiSox, Nationals, A’s, and the two Florida teams to complete the circuit. Well, I haven’t been to the Rangers new stadium, either, so I guess I owe that one a trip.
That is fantastic! I’ve made about 50% of them. Do a lot with the UH daughter and a son who lives in Denver, the wife isn’t too into baseball lol or I’d have a lot more checked off
