Whitting before the Game:

Didn’t play very well against Rice
Couple of bad bounces hurt us
Need strong pitching to win
Joe Davis is still recovering his power from the multiple surgeries he had in the offseason. At least he’s able to get on base and hopefully the power continues to return.
