Another wasted opportunity.
We scored 5 runs today in two games. None of the runs were earned.
However, UH has several tough-minded pitchers that keep the team in the game.

Pitching is fantastic this year and is one of the deepest staffs the Coogs have had (which is saying something). They give us a chance to win just about every game.
Our defense is pretty good as well.
But our hitting…man. And the baserunning mistakes just amplify the problems as we just give away runs.
Hopefully, we win tomorrow to at least take the series. Winning a series on the road in this conference is still an accomplishment.
