Baseball season wearing me out already.
So much for the preseason hype…this team is just out of whack right now and doesn’t seem to know how to win yet. I think we will eventually be alright, just not sure if it will be this year. I have to believe losing our top two assistant coaches is playing a big role in what we are seeing right now…that said, Go Coogs…
Yep, keep seeing trends
Reminds me so much of two years ago. Team has the talent to make a run, but guys have to start performing.

Houston starter Nolan Bond lasted 1.2 innings, allowing two runs on three hits with two walks and two strikeouts before handing the ball over to freshman Clay Aguilar.
Aguilar showed well in his collegiate debut, striking out three, while tossing 2.1 shutout innings without allowing a base hit and only one walk.
He worked around an inherited bases loaded jam in the second inning, surrendering just one inherited run before striking out the final hitter to strand three runners in the frame.
Freshmen Trevis Sundgren and Griffin Hattingh and senior Kyle Ott all recorded one out in the fifth inning. Dylan Lester took over in the sixth, but would surrender two runs on one hit and one walk before Tyler Bielamowicz took over, allowing two runs on two hits.
Hunter Edwards registered the final two outs of the four-run sixth inning for McNeese. A lead off error by the Houston defense forced the Cougars to make a pitching change, sending in Carter Henry. Henry tossed 1.2 shutout innings, allowing two hits, one walk with three strikeouts.
Bielamowicz suffered the loss, his first of the year.
