I know we need to increase athletics revenue, and the Houston Blue will probably help. I am just a traditionalist and would not be disappointed if we stayed with our scarlet (red) and white uniforms. I just don’t like the blue for BB.

I like the blue color on our school unis, just to stick it to oilers and NFL that they do not own this color.

As someone that wears UH polos 80% of the time, I always welcome new colors and options, I bought a gray fishing shirt last month and yesterday I bought a red and white stripped Cutter and Buck shirt so I can look like a candy cane. I noticed at the KSU game that they have embraced a light purple, kind of a lavender, in their polos and I am really happy they are not trying to push light red, aka pink polos down our throats LOL.
Funny thing is I just saw a pink jersey on Fanatics the other day.

Well, i vote gross. Makes sense in football but not basketball. Wish Sampson would tell them to get bent.

Due to our Jordan affiliation, our status as a perennial power, and the universal respect the basketball community has for Sampson, if they make a jersey that is visibly appealing they could potentially sell a ton of blue Jordan merch if they choose to stock it.
Those are some big IFs.
Meanwhile I’m still patiently waiting for a Jordan brand polo. Six years later.
