The spring before that season Johnny Majors and the Pitt staff spent a week with Yeoman and our staff learned our “Veer”offense for Dorset’s Sr. season.

Yeoman was too good at letting people learn from him then. I watched the Nebraska and ND games and I think the veer could still work today and win but that’s another discussion.

That top 4 in '76 would have made a good NCG pairing. I would have liked our chances.
