Paul Wall is a Coog, if I am remembering correctly. Cool to see a big deal being made out of the game.

I hope the crowd is 52 percent to 48 pro Coogs. Is going to awesome to see a 70k game for a UH game.

I am trying to remember the last time a pre-game party was organized for any game in this city. I can’t remember anything off the top of my head. Maybe a send off party for the Oilers?
No, actually the opposite. I remember them being lame ducks in their last season in Houston. Circa 1996!
I meant in the mid-late 80s. I know there was the post-game celebration at the Astrodome, but not sure if anything was ever held before a game. I vaguely remember something for the Rockets in 95 before the playoffs started.
1977 game against #1 Texas at Rice Stadium. We hit 72,124. Just beat out our game against #9 Texas A&M in 1976 at Rice Stadium where we hit 70,001
This game is technically a neutral site game though and won’t be considered a home game.
I think 73 k is a sell out at Reliant.
