I’ve been uhlaw97 since 1995. Started on the original Cougar’s Den on flash.net. Charter member of this board as well since 1999.

If 1999 is when the board started up then that’s when I joined. I was on Cougarden before that.

1999 - I joined the night of or morning after the West Point game. Folks were handing out palm cards in the visitors section for this thing called CoogFans.

I believe TriState was at Columbia at that time was the Founder.

33,
I am sorry for your losses, especially when they came so close together. Tough situation.

It seemed there were few guys on there that thought they were more knowledgeable about everything than anyone else in the world and they kind of formed a clique where they ran down anyone that disagreed with them or had another thought. I got tired of their crap and moved off. Maybe others did too, I don’t know.

Sounds like the Satellite board.

Ill always be around. Mom and Dad took me to football games back in the 60’s. Was a part of, i think we were called Little Cougars. Got to meet Shasta under the seats at the dome. Was the first time i heard a Cougar growl. Hell ive been following these message boards since around when the old CougarsDen had like 30 followers back around late 1996 early 1997.
So deep down in my soul I’m a Cougar through and through.

It’s still fun to attend games and the school needs the support and money. It’s something to do. Treat it like a big block party , eat some food, drink and let the admin take care of the rest.
