Well the season as a whole looks like a 2 seed. I think we’re putting too much weight on the last two weeks. These other teams have been smacked around too, other than the top 3

We went through a second/third weekend like schedule in the past week. We lost the leads against ISU and KU, and didn’t even have anything comfortable against UofA. Momentum swings my booty, you can see that this team isn’t really like the ones previous on a culture and identity standpoint.

The freshman are balling out, but the seniors still need to lead them.

As it’s been mentioned here, it doesn’t seem like there’s that one team member holding people accountable. As soon as it was obvious that Kingston Fleming would be the player-coach on the floor, it is as if the seniors let up on that role and just had Kingston calling the plays.

No drives to the paint until KF did so twice yesterday that gave a glimmer of hope. Where was that all game?

If the Colorado game isn’t an HTown Beatdown, I’ll have some serious concerns about the development at that point.

Let’s prove NIL wrong and bring back Kingston, Cenac and everyone that can come back next year, or go deep into the portal to build a monster team that needs some Sampson development. Can 21-22 be recreated?

Lost in all the hysteria is Miller’s 9 points and 5 rebounds in just 18 minutes. That’s solid, team leader-esque output. If the kid stays on an even remotely similar trajectory he’s destined for stardom.
In the either/or scenario with Harwell I have defended Harwell. But you cannot argue that Mercy is starting to gel a bit. And he is fun to watch.

I think the hope was that Jojo was gonna be that dawg this year…love the kid but not enough of an inside scoring threat. Oh yeah foul prone so has to sit too much while needing his defense.
Im holding out hope Snax can be the dawg come tourney time…but times are getting short

Snax can definitely be a dog and is. But dogs like running in packs, not defending the entire family reunion alone in front of the barbecue pit. One thing is for sure he will be battle-tested on draft day. I still think there are tons of NBA teams salivating on having him on the roster.
It feels like we’re too late to gel as a team. But Sampson is a wizard in March. I stand resolute that we will deliver.
I think we need a real wall-banger slugfest victory in the conference tourney. Maybe 2-3 point spread, where we get our mojo back. Maybe against Tech or Kansas or AZ. Just one real nose-buster. Maybe a fight or two. Both coaching staffs ejected. Elvin drawing up plays on the chalk board in OT

I not that concerned with the seed in the NCAA Tournament. Getting seeded in the South Region is huge.

Tickets for the South Regional at Toyota Center are on sale through On Location.
Too expensive to buy and run the risk of UH going to a different region or getting upset. If UH does make it to the South Region, I will be there.
I do not think UH has posted anything on B12 Tournament or NCAA Tournament tickets. At least not that I can recall.
All these young guys look pretty good.

We never win both S16/E8 or semis/championship game while playing in Texas under CKS.
