Would it have been? WVU or OSU facing OU for the 2nd time? And how bad would it have been for OU to lose?
I mean, since they play a round robin - whichever teams are in the championship game already played each other.

The team that lost in regular season could just as easily win in the game. It’s funny, I just don’t see how that 13th data point can help them.

It would have been a repeat of OU-OSU. That’s the exact reason that many think the Big 12 adding a championship game with only 10 teams and no divisions is a terrible idea.

Just a dumb conference that lacks leadership.

When OSU defeats OU in a rematch in the championship game next year knocking the Sooners out, I’m gonna laugh my arse off at those morons. Of course we’ll be sitting pretty in a nice bowl game as conference champs (and perhaps more) w/ their former OC as our HC maybe?
