Indianapolis roll call

I was there for the FF and the visibility was pretty junk. I’m not sure if that was partially a COVID problem, or just a huge stadium problem, but I said no more tournament games in NFL stadiums.

My son and I are going up Thursday. We went to the final four and actually hated the view from our seats, but oh well we are going back and hoping for a better outcome!

Those are terrible seats?? I thought the school would get lower level behind the bench type seats?

Idk… good for me…

Gotta be better than the 600 level… I’m not too worried about being on the baseline and up… I’ve watched many Rockets games from similar seats and can’t recall one that I had a terrible time at…

The megadonors got the lower seats I guess…

At those prices it seems more reasonable to just watch from home. That’s absurd. But then again, I don’t come from wealth nor do I have it so I guess if someone can afford it :man_shrugging:

From UH they were $210 each…

That’s a bit more reasonable but sheesh, still feels high to me. Although the dollar has been taking quite the hit these days so maybe not, I hear food prices are skyrocketing quite a bit lately

Again, my idea might be skewed. I live in the UK and rarely go to events or concerts or anything but here I could catch most games for under £40 ($50) and tickets to concerts would be £50-60. I also have kids and very little disposable income so most of my spending involves paying for something for them. So basically my understanding of American sporting events prices is like 10-15 years old at this point. I remember the Final 4 being in SA several years ago (it was either 2004 or 2008) and my Dad picked up tickets for like 30 bucks a pop pretty easily, oh how times have changed

If we make it to the regional final, I’ve been thinking about 7-elevening it to Indianapolis from Michigan. I’m thinking if Purdue and whichever of Kentucky-Tennessee loses, there will be a drop in prices on the secondary market as their fans dump their tickets.

I thought EPL tickets are some of the most expensive in the world compared to other European leagues.

Are you going to stay for the E8 if it happens?

I thought I saw you at a basketball game but maybe it was for football.

That’s the plan…

Definitely football… I went to Utah and KSU games last season.

I’ve actually never been in FC because it opened after I moved to the east coast.

On that note I need to plan for a late game this season so I can hit a basketball game, too…
