Went to the Baylor game and it reaffirmed my opinion that we let (and really, make) too many people park on campus. Fast, frequent shuttle service gets you from the stadium to off-site parking very quickly, and then everyone’s not leaving from the same place. (Basically every SEC school does something similar.)
We try to use MetroRail instead, and as someone that uses it almost every game, it doesn’t work nearly as well. Service isn’t frequent enough to support postgame egress from the stadium in any substantial numbers, and it isn’t direct to the destination, either. A couple of buses back and forth between the stadium and offsite parking makes life way easier, especially when they have a protected lane.
