It ain’t easy being a Houston Cougar

The absolute worst. Can’t stop the run. Can’t stop the pass. Was it that hard to just win a game against the worst team in the league? Okay outside of Oklahoma state.

Going into halftime with 3 timeouts and not even trying to go get 3 is unacceptable. We weren’t inside the 10 yard line.

offense should’ve at least tried to get a FG before half but doubtful it would’ve a difference considering how sloppy the second half was…

With extended family. Didn’t watch today. Glad I didn’t. Had a bad feeling once heard Herman was supposed to come and once we got ranked.

No more talk about Big 12 championship game please

Offense going too conservative can be debated. Weigman had times where he just lost the ball and trouble with snaps. Losing it there would have given WVU the lead at the half.

Coach Fritz took the three timouts a bit early in the 4th. It was a gamble that might have worked if our punt coverage didn’t give them the ball back.

For the most part of the offense moved the ball up and down the field. It was the fumbles, interceptions, and miscues that did us in.

Hell, even in the last 4 1/2 minutes of the game when one of our own players touched the ball on a punt return, to cause yet another turnover, we still had plenty of time to score another TD to bring it within 3. Just waaaaay too many turnovers. You just can’t win turning the ball over that many times.

With that being said, I can’t stand the conservative mindset. Yeah, we should’ve gone for another score towards the end of the second half. This drives me nuts.

Not much else to say about the offense other than the quarterback dancing around in the pocket when the defense is blitzing. The ball needs to get out of the QB’s hands much faster to avoid the pass rush. Some short quick hitters usually work well when teams are blitzing, especially the crossing route over the middle.

Oh, and you can’t float the darn ball when you’re throwing to the sideline or you’re gonna get picked, which we saw today with the pick 6.

I brought a friend from work thinking easy win. Anyway at least we’re bowl eligible. Let’s try and win one more of the 3 left which is doable. 8 and 4 hoping

Great job!

Refreshing to know that the Coogs have not lost their touch–we can play down with anybody!! Do they still use that “stickem” stuff on receivers hands?

Basketball season now

We all had a bad feeling from the get go. WVU running at will. Knew this was going to be a loss.

Today sucked but UH not headed to Shreveport Bowl yet.

Weaker spots got awful overnight on defense.
Wearing down.

Any true frosh who can help ?
Some can play last 3 and still redshirt.

They need fresh depth everywhere bit DL.

Yup
WVU OL all over UH from jump.
TE/ H back types all over.

Unless Texas tech loses. lol.

I brought a bunch of people today. Yeah offense had turnovers and bad plays but defense gave up almost 50.

No one “knew” that…

Half those points came after UH turnovers (including the pick six).

Im catching heat from every direction with people i know. Apparently pur attendance is getting just as much attention as our performance.

That’s true, but except for the returned INT, the defense had the opportunity to stop them.
