All of the “Herman to so-and-so schoosl.” I’ve been seeing them online all day. As if he became great again after last night’s win. Like he said, “…we’ve always been here.” They couldn’t possibly want him after our loss to SMU, but he’s changed all of a sudden after last night? I just find it humorous. Some of our own fans didn’t want CTH after the SMU loss.
While building depth, he could have an annual run for playoffs and access bowls at UH.
Additionally, he wouldn’t have to put up with the BMD’s (big money donors - UT, LSU, USC, even the Agros?, etc.) that pressure coaches after 1-3 for not reaching the championship playoffs. Game Day pundits all have him leaving, and ESPN is now saying the bidding will “start” at $5.5M. Well, all we can hope is that he stays and builds our program for a couple of more years, but that type of money with bottomless pocketbooks are hard to turn down.
