Jalen Emery - Gonzo

Carlos Allen is 2 inches away from being recruited by every school in the country. Now that he has production on tape it is probably going to happen regardless.

He’s already being tampered with.

Let’s see if Fritz loses his guys before we put our inferiority complex on full display

Every player that makes an impact on any team is going to be recruited by other programs. Free agency. This isn’t on Willie. Every coach in every program has the same problem of retaining the players on their own rosters. This is one guy.

Ryan McCoy was the last Houston Lamar graduate that went to UH and was drafted in the NFL. If I’m wrong please correct me.

Nothing to do with inferiority. If we had an NIL program worth a damn then we could avoid most of these topics. It’s the new day and age.

Like I said. I’m done blaming coaches. This falls at the feet of the administration to make us competitive.

JL, I believe you, but what has that to do with Allen who graduated from Frederick Douglass HS in Atlanta?

Probably same percent of your net worth as that $20m Tilman donated for the basketball arena.

Well done, SWCoog. No need to spend another dime n

Just like Sampson said that it takes a committed administration to build a successful program. But without the financial backing from alumni, they won’t have the funds to build with. The NIL is on the alumni and fans, not the administration.

Coogfan disputes should include a wager with loser making a 1 time donation lol

Best of luck to Jalen. He wasn’t getting much playing time here so not surprising.

Mike, up to a couple years ago, everyone donating knew their money was going to the programs. That might be buildings, scholarships, coaching salaries, equipment, travel. Now schools have to ask you make a direct wealth transfer to players via NIL collectives. This is a bit tough for many to make the switch in our way of thinking.

Yikes. Not even a little on the admin? Shouldnt they at least pinpoint/schmooze potential NIL donors? Im sure many schools big time NIL donors didnt know they wanted to donate until the university prez and AD were having cigars with them. lol.

I mean IDK about NIL at all im just talking but seems like the admin should help get things moving. The onus is on the fans as well.

I’ll add on $1 per win.

I love listening to our anthletics administrators shame the fanbase and these LinkingCoogs randos begging for money. It really stirs up a lot of pride as an alum, and makes me feel generous.

I’ll match you!

Can we get any other takers?

Hell Im feeling generous and have cash to burn. Sign me up for $2 a win, paid in $2 bills!

This was brought up in today’s Press Conference.

Per CWF, Emory left the team voluntarily.

Here’s some Coog Trivia:

Since 2021, the following players have left their respective teams in-Season…

RB Brandon Campbell
CB Jalen Emory
WR Cody Jackson

Did I miss any?

If we beat TCU, I’ll put in $100 even though I’m already donating to NIL

Wealth transfer? You can give as little as $1 one time or $10 monthly. Neither end of these transactions will have their lives changed.
