Our pass defense has been fine. We rank 11th nationally. Our starting DBs are not anywhere close to the problem.

Sorry folks. I still see a lot of missed tackles by the D. That still needs to be cleaned up.
I saw some but hardly any defense is going to never miss a tackle. Our defense, despite being on the field most of the time, has (excluding Cincinnati) given up an average of 15 points per game. Complain about the offense to your heartâs content, but you really have to reach to criticize the defense.

Our admin schmoozes with the best of them, but getting them to part with significant funds is harder than you may think. We have a core group of significant donors and another group like me who donate to Cougar Pride in various amounts that they can afford. We are doing all we can. But we need people who can help fund NIL without reducing their donations to CP which supports paying for scholarships.

Add some money to NIL. It has nothing to do with CWF. NIL will wipe out most programs. It is unsustainable.

Jalen Emery was gettting burned every game last season. With the new transfers, he wasnât getting any game time. So, Jalen emery leaving was inevitable. Not big news.

You spelled fanbase wrong. NIL is the responsibility of boosters, not admin. All admin can do is create a structure and make connections.

Iâm not sure since I havenât done individual player NIL. My guess is itâs just data gathering. Let us know how it goes for others who might be interested.
Many, many, many years ago, I was a member of a group that met at the Houstonian and made calls for fund raising. I ended up getting donations for portable generators and lighting for events, back about the time Hofheinz was being built. I just had to ask and the local business was glad to donate. I received a UH sweater and cap for that effort. Is there anything like that going on today ? ? ? ? ?
