Another TTU WR hit the transfer portal today. He played in all 10 games as a true freshman with 284 yards and 2 tds. He was the #80 wr in his class. Our Tech transfers are already recruiting him hard on twitter. Would be a huge get with 3 years and a redshirt remaining
Also he was recruited by UH last year in HS and we were 1 of like 3 schools he took a visit to

Why are all these players transferring? I can’t believe it is always a case of playing time when some have played in many games.
The huge spike in transfers this year is because the ncaa waived the sit a year rule for all players due to covid. You can go anywhere and play immediately.
Maybe they realize that Lubbock isn’t as much fun as they thought it would be.
Tech is getting hit hard with tons of players leaving. They have a 6’5 310 offensive lineman in the portal with 2 year left ( may be wrong on how many years)

We have to get our PooPoo together but once we do (and we will) why would anyone want to go to some podunk town on the prarie and have a losing record when you could go to Houston and win?
