Did anyone listen to the No Conference for Old Men episode with Pezman? When talking about NIL, he specifically mentions that Mylik is the only player graduating but every single player can come back next year. He emphasized how important NIL is in trying to retain players. In the context of what we’ve been talking about here, I found that very interesting coming from Pezman.

Im not bad mouthing a former player, im speaking to his dad giving him a PROFESSIONAL job after playing which he was unqualified for and has now been replaced with a non-Holgorson competent replacement.
Younger Holgorson is 100% responsible for HIS performance in his PROFESSIONAL job.
Im not talking about his job as a 4th string QB.
Im just sick of the Holgorson’s taking advantage of our University for their own gain

We are forgetting what LinkingCoogs is. It has no affiliation with the athletic department only the players. According to their website they are a marketing business specializing in Name, Image and Likeness. They are a for profit company, at least as it appears. It has nothing to do with Dana. It literally is a company founded by Austin Elrod, Troy Kyle, Norman Stalarow, Greg Ralph, and Landon according to On3. They don’t look like they replaced Logan and I would imagine when they do it will be another former player. They have also not posted a football NIL deal since he left. Clearly most of their effort is with our #1 basketball team, it is in season. Landon even calls himself a NIL & NBA Marketing Agent.
One the largest, if not the largest NIL deal the football team has is the $1 million deal with the Daspit Law Firm, which was signed while Logan worked for LinkingCoogs, and is where Logan Holgorsen currently works. Lets leave Logan Holgorsen out of it.

Speaking of…I’m still seeing Daspit billboards around town with Matthew Golden on them.
Daspit Law Firm actively and aggressively sought after and signed that deal.
They did the same thing for the University of Texas and actually featured Bun B in their commercial.

Personally, I don’t care how old the guys are or how they got the job as long as they’re good at it. Why worry about nepotism when we’re over here trying to create a borderline-legal slush fund? 
He’s 28.
If Houston became its own country it would be the 28th richest country on earth. Glad to see UH players taking advantage of the local economy.
