Jared Harris

No doubt…hard for me to believe with this staff we can’t get anyone we want in the Greater Houston area…we have the results to prove it!!

Especially with Landon Goesling busting his a$$ on the NIL side of things. From Houston to LA my man has connections!!!

And we probably only know about 25% of the things that are happening when it comes to NIL money.

They definitely lose some whether it’s NIL or other factor. I think the elite Hou kids sometime are hit or miss on how good they will be at the next level though.

lol at Arkansas.

Who aren’t they involved with? I think they offer every single three star and higher.

And…when those kids commit elsewhere, they start probing transfer portal interest.

One thing is to lose someone but another to not be in local kid’s top 10 list is absurb!

We all know how Memphis operates. Theyve gotten in trouble this offseason already!

In any kind of true open bid type of scenario, I kind of doubt that UH is a ready, willing & able participant as long as CKS is our leader.

We also need a big center that can block shots, catch rebounds, and get easy points on the low post. Our centers from last year are way too short. It seems Sampson always have a problem with recruiting good size centers.

Facts.

Man, I always wondered how good we would have been last year if we had Josh Charlton on that team instead of the 2021 squad. I think we are in the Final 4 at least.

I’m sure for the ones who have spent their entire lives in Houston, a good chunk of them want the adventure of moving away for a bit. Home sickness is something most kids can’t wrap their minds around when making these decisions. Why ANYONE would want to move to Memphis though, I’ll never understand.

That’s easy to understand. Memphis BB is all about “show me the $$$”

If you saw Van Beck play now you’d be pleased. He’s a real pro. Great hands. Still not a great rebounder. But he’s tons stronger that when we last saw him. Really nice shot. Unfortunately Tenerife was relegated this year. But last I saw he was around 6-8 pts a game. Solid Spanish pro off the bench. Glad he got to play the sport he loves at a high level. I had DAZN for a while and they charged me $49.99 so I dropped it. Haven’t seen a game in a while.

$50 for DAZN is crazy! Especially bc they don’t have much inventory, other than some soccer games here & there.

I remember it was about $10 a month back in 2016, iirc, and even then I questioned whether it was worth it bc they had even LESS entertainment inventory.

They have a sign up for free now. Not sure why mine went up. It took me s couple of months to figure it out. I heard that DAZN was bought or merged with something else. I think I got caught in a plan where it went up after 12 months. When I first signed up I paid $15.99.

Of course I see Fubo adversing something like $89 a month but when I try to renew they charge me$129.00. Maybe I’m on a “sucker list.”
