Has there even been such a legit receiving corps ut UH? We’ve had some really good wideouts since I’ve followed the Coogs in '01, but we are set to have deadly weapons all over the field for the next few years.

Wow. Great news!

Lots of talent on Cullen or heading this way!

You have to love all these Booms!

Wow - looking at his HUDL highlights and the yards after carry, he looks tailor-fit for our offense!

Welcome to the UH family, Mr. Singleton!

I had a stupid grin all through his highlight reel. Yards after catch are unreal.

Well yea, the year we had Elmo Wright, Earl Thomas, Riley Odoms on campus we had a very great set of Receivers and we were using the veer.

The one guy Applewhite said will play next season

What did they say about Moon Mullins? He couldn’t run, he couldn’t thow, and he couldn’t see (he was blind as a bat). All he could do was win. Truth is he had some incredible receivers and RBs who could break off a long one on any down. Those teams had talent, especially at TE and receiver.

I just missed the Moon Mullins era but I did get to se D.C. Nobles quarterback UH.

Another of our recruits going for a state championship; this time in basketball. Gooden and Parrish are going for state championships in weight lifting.

The 1988 team had two 100+ catch, 1000+ yard receivers in one season. They have the distinction of being the only duo to be ranked #1 and #2 in receptions on the same team in the same year. James Dixon was All-SWC and played 3 years in the NFL. Jason Phillips was consensus All-American and played 5 years in the NFL.

The RBs could catch too. Chuck Weatherspoon and Kimble Anders both caught 100+ passes in their college career. This in an era where the RB was thrown to much less than today. Spoon made multiple All-SWC teams and played 1 year in the NFL. Anders played 10 years in the NFL and was a 3x pro bowler.

He looks like a legit 4 Star receiver. Pretty sure he’ll be starting immediately. Very nice.

He might, especially with the injuries we’ve had. We’ve got a good group of receivers right now.
