True story. In Chile we have the Quasimodo religious celebration. In around 2005 I sent a video to my aunt in Las Colinas (Dallas.) She sent me a message back asking why I was at a Klan rally in South America.

they used to have Klan rallies on the side of highway 59 in Splendora when I was growing up - right at road that leads to my neighborhood.

I live off of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Lee County, NC and I’m here to tell you this ain’t a joke


I was in the food lion about a year ago and an old white man was telling me that the Klan used to beat you down if you were white and wouldn’t join back in the day
 mind you our cashier was a young black woman


I told him “well they’re running scared now.”

I could tell he didn’t like that statement at all.
