The Lady Coogs beat Tulane in NO by the score of 71-64. It was one of those scheduling coincidences that saw both men and women play ball in New Orleans within a day apart.
The game was nip-and-tuck for the first three quarters. The Lady Coogs stretched the lead midway through the 4th quarter by 10 points only to see a furious and effective Tulane full court press close the lead to 3 points. UH FTs down the stretch clinched the win.
The win gives the Lady Coogs a 9-5 record for the season and a 6-4 record in conference play.
Tulane fell to 8-5 for the season and 4-4 in conference action.
