Every staffer and clerk was interviewed, and records checked, all of them signed affidavits that they werenât the leak. No Justices were checked, at all. 100% it was a justice and like Jazz Iâm 98% sure it was Alito or Thomas/Ginni. Done to calcify the positions of most likely Kavanaugh.

The pervailing thought/speculation as I have read and told by some lawyers, was that it was Alito himself as it then hamstrung Roberts, regarding internal justice reviews or comments before the final ruling. It was not going to change the ruling but perhaps the verbage in the final ruling. It has been speculated it waa Alito in the days that followed especially some said if no leaker was found after an investigation of the staff.
