Marcus Sasser and Kenny Lofton Jr. invited to the draft combine

Favorite to win at naty? Along with another 10-12 other teams, right?

Sure
But still we’re one of the faves if he comes back

Kyle I think we will be very good with or without Sasser. We have a stacked roster full of talent.
But yes Sasser makes a difference, a big difference.
But if he goes we have others like Sharp and Ramon Walker more than willing to take the minutes.
I think the way things are in todays world we are going to be worried about players leaving every year.
Great teams reload and move on

I’m not worried because we have $head and Mark along with the 2 guards you named
But if we have Sasser next year

Oh.My.God.

Go Coogs!

If Sasser returns, at least there should be no questions about his health / conditioning after his showing at the draft workouts. I wish him well if he stays in the draft - it’s a life-changing decision.

Absolutely no questions. That kid is a warrior.

I think we should all wait for his decision before wishing him good luck if he leaves for the NBA Draft, js! It won’t aged well if he returns.

You’ll be fine whenever he announces, it his decision, his time line

Honestly I want Sasser to come back just for numbers. i saw what seven man rotation looked like eleven games in a row. And it looked exhausting. Oh, and, poor Mark never gets talked about right now. But given the possibility of Sasser’s exit Mark stands to inherit the “moxie” slot in the lineup.

The Moxie Torch must be passed.

The writer of the article obviously didn’t do his homework
Jeryl Sasser is an uncle to Marcus
not his dad

Regarding Oliver Lafeyette, Penders had some exciting teams
They just didn’t play enough defense. I remember UH upsetting Arizona in 2005 in the regular season and fans stormed the court after the win. They were ranked in the Top 25 after the win for the first time in many years but only remained in the rankings for 1 whole week

Penders got us back on track
But he ain’t a HOF like CKS!

True
I feel like Penders doesn’t get the credit Briles does for getting the program back on track and I believe it was because Briles was succeeded by Sumlin & Herman which continued the success while Dickey came after Penders and stunk up the joint
