they are misreading the ig post… sasser said “year didnt end how…”… he meant 2021… he didnt mean season… he might be gone from the seaosn, but thats not what the IG post meant
I just said the exact same thing to my wife 30 minutes ago. It seriously would be a g-league , not college, roster, and Samps running the ship. I could imagine teams rightfully dreading playing them.

Broken foot…
Looked it up. “Turf Toe” has 3 levels of severity.
At Level 3 one must rest, wear a boot, etc. The resting period should be about 2 weeks.
Thus his 2021 year has ended. No Cincy game next week.
He might return by Mid-January. He might then have to play reduced minutes.
He might be full strength for Feb- March.
Shead, Edwards, Walker, and Moore have to play the minutes.
As many already predicted we may see more of an “Inside” game since we have lots of Bigs. In essence Moore becomes a small forward, not so much an outside shooter. He becomes Drexler, so to speak.
Idle speculation for now.
If foot is broken I wouldn’t count on him returning this season

Just can’t see that happening. How many freshmen that went thru the 5 months of the preseason set foot on the court in meaningful minutes? As you said, he arrives Tuesday

At this point don’t expect it. If it happens a few weeks down the road then that will be a discussion after actually going through an evaluation period on the individual and team. If he or the parents are not on board with him burning a RS for the last 4-6 weeks of the season then it is a non starter anyway.
As of now we still have 4 quality guards in the rotation and can hope Armbrester puts it together.

I agree. But in my opinion if you don’t defend, you don’t play for Coach Sampson.
Even when we were up 30 on Texas St, Ramon Walker was late on a play, led to a bucket and Coach ripped Ramon. Mightve even subbed him out and we were up big.
Maybe Sharp gets some minutes in blowouts, idk
