Overall, traffic flow was much better, but the game had fewer people and a bunch of folks left early, so it’s kind of apples:oranges.

Very true. At the Texas Tech game, only the Raider fans left early, and there wasn’t very many of them to begin with, so no benefit to traffic congestion.
