Recently discussed this War with my son. He knew not much about The Vietnam War. I was an Officer in The USArmy then. Gave him an education.

He immediately said this situation was like Vietnam.

Asked me how long we were in Vietnam. When I said close to 10 years of combat operations he was shocked! Said if Iran goes on that trajectory then The Republicans will be killed at the Ballot Box. I agreed.

The wife and I voted for The President. But see this Iran situation as a loser. If someone is to take them on it should be the Nations nearby,that could be hit by their Missiles,and Atomic weapons if they develop such.

This has no clear Military strategy that gets rid of their IRRG and Leadership for good.

This is a Political killer.

I’m generally pretty hawkish but I’ve learned from the past that there just isn’t much you can do to win in the ME. You have to pick your battles wisely there.

That’s really how I felt from the beginning. The IRRG and the Leadership of Iran is evil and needs to go, but I didn’t see the urgency when we started this and didn’t see what the goals/strategy was. The initial messaging (when there was some) was inconsistent, contradictory, and too hyperbolic to be meaningful. Unfortunately, the messaging hasn’t gotten any better.

This has been more systematic than people realize. People are looking at the Iran bombing as a one off. It isn’t. The start began in term one with “drill baby drill” and Space Force. Steps taken to financially weaken Iran, Hezbollah and Houthis prior to any attack.

I knew the names would cause confusion but wanted to keep it on context. This isn’t just Iran, it is a rearranging of the entire oil based economy and kicking the London globalists in the gonads.

The announcement today that the gayatollah may be dead, tells me that the shakeup in leadership has been completed. If so, we will see who the new leader(s) is shortly.

That catch-phrase means zero when it comes to actual drilling and production activity. The same things that hurt Iran in the oil business hurt the US - low prices. And US companies don’t “drill baby drill” when prices are low.

And Space Force did not weaken Iran or anyone else. In fact, one could argue that devoting resources to that kept us from developing effective offensive and defensive drone systems.

The whole theory behind a “systematic plan” has more holes in it than all the dead ayatollahs combined. :laughing:
