Men's Golf: Stockton, CA Regional

The Coogs were allocated to the Stockton Regional at Spanos Park in Stockton, CA as the 10th seed. The Coogs need to finish in the top 5 (no ties) to earn a bid to NCAAs. The field looks like this:

  4. LSU
  5. Oregon
  6. Nevada
  7. Liberty
  8. BYU
  9. UAB
  10. Houston
  11. UC Davis
  12. Denver
  13. Abilene Christian
  14. Weber State

Coogs have a tough road ahead if they want to play at Grayhawk. Some quality teams with some of the best players in the country.

Will it be televised?

To my recollection, this will not be televised. The Championships will be shown on Golf Channel.

Four days to go before the fun begins. Team should be making their final preps before heading out to CA. Good luck to them this weekend, hopefully they kick the door in. Either way, they are improving as a program after the year they have had. Not where they want to be yet, but improving from prior years.
