Unless something changes we don’t look like a final four team. Flemings change that, Uzan and Tuggler can change that but players will need to step up to change our trajectory currently
Tuggler still can’t stay on the court….for the life of me I just don’t understand why he can’t play more disciplined.
Uzan needs to stop trying to play point and buy in to being a 2 guard.
Too many times in big moments he dribbles the air out of the ball and then passes to a teammate with just a few seconds on the clock to where all they can do is chuck up a difficult shot.
This team absolutely has the talent and skill to make the Final Four….but everyone needs to know their role and trust their teammates.
12/4 turnovers after only causing ISU to turn it over 3 times. Concerning. There is nothing CKS stresses more than ball security. Team is in a funk right now.
I’m almost here. Sadly. Tugler comes back in with about a minute and a half left. We were already down like 8 at that point. Immediately had a putback dunk. But, what is the point? Dude cannot stay on the floor. It’s hurting the team.
Those two have disappointed me the most. Really regressed compared to last season. Tugler just doesn’t have much between the ears. Uzan is timid to make things happen. If they played up to expectations, we would be #1 overall seed quality.
The leap we expect of upperclassman normally didn’t occur with Milos or jojo. For Milos - probably in part to kingstons emergence. Milos needs the ball in his hands to gain confidence and feel. Relegating him to 2 guard is not his style.
Most disappointed in Jojo’s progression. Samp bet on him. And he just hasn’t taken a jump. On offense or eliminating the stupid fouls. Some of his fouls are ones you don’t want to eliminate. Because you are eliminating what makes him so great. But some are just so dumb. That leaves me speechless.
Uzan just has no idea how to play with Flemings. I doubt that gets fixed in the next month.
Harwell injuring his knee this summer really hurt the team.
He’s had a few good games. Saved our bacon a couple of times. But it’s just very inconsistent. But hard to put it all on him. Flemings dominates the ball and Uzan has struggled to play off ball. So now we are doing like a back and forth in initiating offense between the two. That hurt us at Iowa State as Uzan was dribbling the air out of the ball constantly.
We don’t get to a final four if Tugler can’t play more than 15 minutes a game without you worrying about foul trouble.
