Missing 2015 right now

I can’t be the only one right?

You could argue as fun as 2016 was it was also the start of the downard spiral we have seen since then. Herman bolted and everything started snowball.

I will get even more specific. The Navy loss, when Ed got hurt, was the beginning of the end. After that, it was eye twitch, a Major disaster, and the Holgo roller coaster.

We did get blown out by a bad smu team that year and lost to a mediocre memphis team. Got blown out by sdsu in the bowl game too. But awesome wins agaonst Louisville abd Oklahoma! Something tells me Herman would not have the same success if he had to develop his own recruiting classes.

2016 was not good. Herman denied rumors he’d signed elsewhere and lost his final game against Memphis. Herman then signed with UT and left the coog program in Nov. Trader.

Herman is currently a bottom feeder in the AAC with FAU after getting canned by UT. Greed came back to haunt Herman.

I think our biggest problems lover the last 16 years or so is that we haven’t had a worthwhile AD since Dave Maggard left. Certainly not one that had connections and understood college athletics.

Rhodes was a bean counter hired to build a stadium( he did that). As to coaching hires he gave us James Dickey and Tony Levine ( don’t get me wrong as I liked Tony as a person). He brought. In Yuacheck, another pretender, then Pezman is hired.

All of these guys seemed nothing more than yes men to Fettita and Khator.

I hope the current AD is his own man and can bring our programs to the summit.

At UH, it has always been a tough task.

We had 2 great wins against OU and Louisville but managed to go 4-4 in the AAC. This team was just weird.

Wasn’t the team, it was the carnival barker.

If you’re looking for austin real estate instead of prepping for a game, strange things will happen on the field.
Herman could scheme like a champ when he was motivated.

OMG yes. Remember how good it felt?

Honestly I may miss 2016 even more, only because we were so good. I mean we played OU and I never had a doubt that we would win.

Today? I doubt whether we will win every game.
