TCU is way low, also. Maybe a numbers thing? Anyway, it should be obvious to anyone with a brain that we are the best school in the State of Texas and beyond and nowhere near as obnoxious as those putrid UH-wannabes.

Outside of blue bloods, fans will not usually rank high unless they are successful.
Also, UH is going to unfairly get some votes state-wide because some Texans flat-out hate all things Houston. Obnoxious fans from UT/TAMU/TT/TCU/SMU/BU all annoy me…but the UH fans that are obnoxious annoy me more. Still, by volume, I wouldn’t put us ahead of SMU or BU…and I would put TCU pretty low.

UT-all campuses are going to vote TAMU. If OU was on there, it would have split the vote.
My worst fan experience was with Texas State when they visited a few years ago… 2015 maybe?
But throwing tortillas still takes the cakes as the most obnoxious thing a Texas fan base does

Texas State did visit in 2015 in Herman’s first year here.
My interactions the past few years since 2020.
UT: obnoxious and annoying
A&M: annoying
Tech: obnoxious and annoying
SMU: meh
Baylor: annoying due to them beating us in the 2021 Final Four
TCU: meh

Such an inaccurate poll. I wouldn’t be surprised if majority Tech fans took the poll.
Regarding SMU and TCU, I’ve never met an obnoxious TCU fan; they’re all pretty chill.
As for SMU…do they have fans? I’ve hardly ever encountered anyone, even people that went to school there, that were die hard boosters.

To be honest, the most obnoxious fans I have met at home and on the road are UH fans.

I find SMU to be really annoying because of Biff and Muffy and the popped colors on their shirts.
SMU…They bought their way into a P4. What is not to hate?

With a caveat, I want to put a vote in for the fans who complain about attendance but NEVER attend games. There are many, so not singling out ANYONE in particular
