Obviously the fouls were bullshit.

Putting the refs aside:

#1. Milos Uzan not on the floor. We win the game if hes out there. Honestly, i don’t want Sharp, Uzan playing tight defense on the road/neutral. The refs will call everything

#2.We dont have a backup point guard. When Cryer was going minutes without getting the ball, why? Mylik was running point. And doesn’t know how to get guys looks for other players

#3.Up by 4, less than 2 minutes to go, we give up a 3pt to Sears at the top of key. And it was in rhythm. Shitty defense. Of course they’re looking for Sears

I get the refs suck, but having Francis, Tugler, Sharp, Uzan with trouble it reminded me of A&M in the NCAA tournament

We have to play smarter against athletic teams. The refs are not our friends. Expect BS calls

#4. In a gritty game, we really didnt get the ball to Jwan at all. It was basically Cryer or Mylik in the 2nd half. Gotta get Jwan more easy touches

#5. The fight after being down 7. To take the lead & almost win. Love it. But you gotta close. LJ may not be that closer. Tired legs late

Need a closer. A Jamal Shead or a Rob Gray - somebody who can get their own shot.

1-12 from the field after taking 73-69 lead. They got tired. Alabama players noticed it too.

Gotta get Francis and Javier 100%. Need to work on our ball movement. Gotta get Uzan up to speed. And need more Miller time.

If Suzan is in that game, we win it.

He doesn’t suck. He’s just getting acclimated and it’s going to take some lumps and bruises.

He’s a great shooter for a pg. defense is a work in progress.

Its the double and trap at all cost that is our “live and die by” moment. Great when its executed, exploited by a shooter in rhythym when its not

Honestly I wish we would stop betting on Francis. But this is the last year and I think it was not a good bet. Just my opinion.

Still too goofy making freshman mistake man. He should be a lot further along offensively.

One area where losing JM hurt us. He had the potential to be a spark plug off the bench. Think his length would’ve helped today.

Neither TA or Francis is fully healthy and you can feel it in games like this and Auburn. Both are top 10 teams and we need to be fully healthy to go the distance with them, especially with foul trouble.

Mylik tends to over-dribble. His shot is hit or miss, but at least he’s willing to take it.

Not really sure why they made Mercy play off the ball the whole time. Sampson needs to empower our guys more on offense. He is so rigid on who he trusts and what he is willing to do.

I believe we do have a closer, but he is just a freshman and not quite ready for prime time.

At least he provides some energy. He’s good on the boards. If we could get Uzan to play with his motor that would be awesome. We’re a work in progress but everything we want for this team is still out in front of us.
