NBA Draft Combine

I said all last season that his skill set translates well to the pros. I believe he can be an excellent rotation player at the next level.

I can’t help but post my UH pride is up a few notches that Cenac is doing well at the combine and Peat may return to Arizona. We had posters that questioned the signing of Cenac over Peat. Let Coach coach and evaluate, and posters stick to posting.

Pro potential and college production are two entirely different things.

Not entirely, but yes there is some unshared space

how’d people come up with the cenac over peat narrative when koa committed to arizona after tugler said he was returning :sob:

it was pretty obvious cenac would have an easier time translating to the pros even tho it didnt really work as well in college lol

I think it did work well for Cenac in college. He just didn’t hit shots when the team needed him the most.

But, his college career, short, but was successful imho.

Just wonder what could’ve been if Cenac and Kingston would’ve played 2 years

My head just exploded thinking of Flemings and Cenac as sophomores.

An objective critique is we have not had a star yet in the NBA

*Quentin Grimes
*Jarace Walker
*Marcus Sasser
*Jamal Shead

Really good role players. Guys that can all stick in the league with their intangibles. And making really good money. Shead with Imanuel Quickley healthy, is a backup PG for a good team. Nothing wrong with that

Kingston & Cenac have much higher ceilings than the previously 4 players mentioned.

The NBA is kinda all about “role” definition. And what team do you want to draft you? A loaded team with few minutes in year 1 or a really bad team with bad culture?
