Perhaps the NBA is just lacking universal star power

Funny enough, this year’s March Madness was one of the highest viewed in years (even more specifically UH x Duke which I believe was the highest the entire tournament)
NBA play-off season goes on forever … is my issue. And then the finals are stretched out over what feels like 2 weeks… They are just tonight playing game 2 after Thur night game 1 …
It was ridiculous they didn’t play last night. Annoying
NHL was on Wed-Friday and now next game is Monday, but they have a 5 plus hour flight between the cities involved so I get having the extra day off. The only reason I get for them not playing last night is Saturday is usually bad for tv ratings.

He has been a great NBA player but Durant is 36 - he turns 37 on Sept 29th… he is too old and too injury prone to give that kind of capital up in my view.
The price is too high plus he has 1yr on his contract so its way too much to give up on a guy that bounces from team to team.
