how did the rockets win so many hames last year ? they are an very average team at best without durant. i realize they without their starting point, but he was no top point guard.
why durant came to the rockets besides money, i do not know. it is clear he will not win a ring with this team, even with a healthy point.

Imo Lakers got a very friendly whistle and shot the ball way above their weight… I think the Rockets can still win the series with Durant.

I am only interested in the Pistons to the extent of Marcus Sasser getting playing time and being successful there. Unfortunately, Detroit has a bad history of not being a haven of success for former Cougar athletes.
I remember when Andre Ware was selected by the Detroit Lions in 1990 with the 7th overall pick coming off of winning the Heisman Award. I was so excited for him and waited patiently for him to get his chance. Andre Ware played for Wayne Fontes and the Detroit Lions for four years. He was never given a fair shot there IMO.
Much like Andre Ware’s time in Detroit, I am waiting for Marcus Sasser to have a shot at playing time. Unfortunately, when I tune into one of his games he gets little to no playing time. Sad but true.

I don’t think it’s gonna happen for Sasser in Detroit unless there are big personnel changes. But he’s also had lingering injury problems this year that make it hard for a coach to plan for him to be in the rotation.
Actually, Kyle Lowry was the starting PG for Toronto in the 2019 playoffs. FVV came off the bench every game, but he did play well.

Durant has made a huge difference in this game in the 1st half. Him and Lebron have made for a very exciting half. Hopefully Lebron wears down, we’ll see. Rockets were down 15 at one point and made it a 3 point game at halftime. Hopefully the Rockets can steal this one in LA.

either the rockets players are very average or their coach should be fired. college teams run better offenses.
I watched a few minutes last night and had to turn it off. I saw LeBron drive the lane all the way from the 3pt line for a dunk, and no defender was within 5 ft of him. The defenders all stopped in their tracks to watch him, no attempt to slow him down.
I could not accept that level of defense and immediately shut off the tv.
Hopefully Coach Sampson wasn’t watching… he would have had a stroke or heart attack.
