NCAA tournament in-game thread - Non-UH

Here is the video of Dan Hurley cussing about the officials while passing Baylor going to the locker room.

The Hurley’s rant is being overblown. The real story is UConn’s SID demanding the video from the reporter or threatening him professionally.

I was going to say, Dan might have been the one using expletives, but it sounds like the communications director, who I would guess works under the AD, is the one who should/will be in hot water.

Maybe there’s more details in investigation that might link Dan to it more? IDK.

If UConn needs an excuse to fire Hurley, they can say none of this would have happened if their head coach acted professional. Other than that, it sounds like someone working under their athletic director will be cleaning out his office.

ESPN Computer Model Predicts Winner of Tennessee vs Kentucky’s Sweet 16 Clash

Viewership

Gonzaga Houston was 2,644,000. It’s a great number but I’m kind of disappointed,

Did they count me? i was at a bar. And everyone probably thought I was a danged Wisconsin fan because I was wearing a red shirt in a Minneapolis bar while BYU was beating WI down and then for some reason letting them back in (its the B12 way, right BYU, UH and AZ???) at the end. But i shocked them all by cheering when BYU sealed it. Hey buddy get out of there, we are Wisconsin fans

We were at a gender reveal for my kid (I’m not the one who scheduled it) my whole family was watching the game and my in laws weren’t at all. Lots of jumping up and down in my family. They probably think we are crazy

Ok then it was, “The second half is about to start, I don’t care about all the theatrics, can you just hurry up and tell us what it is??? It’s a simple question, boy or girl, boy or girl? One word answer…”

I mean… that’s what an absolute ogre would say.

As a loving, caring father, of course I want to spend a whole day on it.:joy:

Looking at the list I get it. There were all of those cbs games in front of it. Then there were 2 more games being simulcast on tbs and trutv for some reason at the same time as UH-Gonzaga.

The disappointing thing to me is that Houston is the only 1 seed to not be on cbs and that will continue for at least another round. That’s missed out exposure.

I agree, though Florida is on TBS as well this week.

That was my take too. The slot also started at a time when the casual fans had good games well underway on the other channels.

I’m surprised the UConn-UF game isn’t top 3.

At least we beat UT and aTm viewership.

Surprised to see Illinois v Kentucky with almost 10 million viewers, and Illinois v Xavier with 3.2 million.

You must compare apples to apples. CBS has more TV sets than TNT, TBS, or the other cable channels, so CBS viewing will have higher numbers. Ours were one of the highest viewing numbers on TNT/TBS.

In this case it’s more about the timing.

The fist round has more competition w/ so many games, and I believe there is such a thing as march maddness fatigue if you’ve been watching games 3 days in a row, by 9:30 ET on a Friday night, you might not be as interested compared to a 2nd round game at 5pm est in a Sunday with less competition.

First, I wish your new child and wife the best of health, and congratulations!

Second, I don’t know why, but I wanted to point out that I never got gender reveal parties. I had four kids. You want to know what we’re expecting? Just ask. LOL. But times, they are a changin’.
