Preview of Coogs…
Coach Burrell has alluded to some possible unexpected positive results for the Coogs. Can’t wait to watch!
That word, “positive” as in Covid, made me nervous but I know now it is a good thing.
Can’t wait.
Marhofer had a disappointing go in the Hammer, won’t be advancing.
We’ve got three pole vaulters going right now.
Which channel are you watching?
I thought it started at 6
You can follow it here. Shows updates, start lists, etc. pretty handy.

It would have a bonus to see him with a q, but his tying his personal best still would not have been good enough to qualify.
It won’t be televised till 6pm, but I still like to follow the live results (from the links posted).
Oh got it. Thank you guys!!
You’re right, but I’m sure he’s not happy with his performance. He was about 10m shy of his PB. Last I looked, our other field guys were doing well, but it wasearly with lots more flights to go.
Okafor with a PB of about 8 inches better on his first long jump. Great start!
And Okafor has qualified for Nationals, in 8th place. Also, former Coog Kenneth Pree (now a TSU Tiger) qualified in 12th place.
Pole Vault still going. Coogs have two left in contention. Percefull is out, but Ruiz and Sampye still going. 19 men still going, fighting for 12 slots.
Edit: Ruiz and Sampy both qualified for Nationals. Sampy by the skin of his teeth…it took a Longhorn missing his final jump to allow Sampy to hold on to the 12th and final spot.
I took a hiatus from Coogfans for a little bit, but I’m back for track!

Dayo (13.58) and DJ (13.59) advance in the 110 hurdles!
Well dang, with Ft Worth back posting, I’m either going to have to get a lot faster or retire from the posting game!
Appreciate all that you do for T&F news!
I second that emotion. Also looks like I’m depending on Ft Worth and refreshing the live results page…appears that the TV coverage requires more ESPN than I pay for.
I’m actually busy Friday and Saturday night so I may not even catch coverage of the good days. Might need you guys for updates!
Through 3 100m heats, Collins and Booker won their heats. Sumler and Brown are the top 2 time qualifiers (6 advance). Alexander had a bad race.
4th heat Shaun jogged the end for a 10.05, this guy is crazy fast. Hamberlin 2nd to get auto qualifier. No Coogs in last two heats so hope the wind dies down
Triston Gibbons needs a big throw on his last attempt to qualify. His PB would get him in.
Shaun is sick. Literally jogged to the finish at 10.05.
Good day so far.
