I believe Robinson will get drafted because he has good measurables. That would make 4 straight classes with guys in the NFL. I think we have some good young linebackers coming up behind them.
Gooden, Parish, Anenih, Godfrey, Kirven, Mutin, Willis-Dalton, Duke Goodson all coming back. Caeser and Edgeston coming in…this group is going to be salty next year. Our strength should continue to be our front 7 and we have 2 experienced safeties as well.
Question will be CB where we lack experience and, so-far, talent. Need an infusion quickly.
Really need a shutdown CB.
I believe he has the size and ability. Still needs to perform at the combines. Steven Taylor was one of my favorite Coogs to watch in 30+ years and his combine numbers were under whelming. Hopefully Robinson has better raw numbers to get a better look by the NFL.
That is my biggest concern. Could have the greatest DC we have ever had but teaching communication between safeties, linebackers and cornerbacks is less painful when done in full scrimmages or meaningless games than in 4 weeks of August practices. With new faces at both corners, mistakes will be made.
