I sadly do not think this team is equipped to beat anyone in our conference even though the defense and special teams are representative.

We’re like a gal with a decent face (special teams), flat butt (defense), but spectacular top set (defense).
I guess that is our saving grace.
Someone please name one first year coach, or fairly new, ranked in the top 25 that got there on defense alone. Almost all the successful up-n-coming coaches that I’m seeing know how to put points on the board.

I think UH has a chance this week to be ranked in ESPN’s Bottom 10. B2B shutouts makes them worthy.

I’ll never forget that. You’re referencing the 2020 football season where the final poll came out in 2021.
After the regular season was over, the Big 10 literally changed the rules to allow Ohio State to play in the Big 10 Championship Game. Indiana had earned the spot.
