It used to be a defense to possession of child porn if the porn you possessed consisted of depictions of your spouse while that person was under age.
That affirmative defense has just been abolished.

There is a gulf of difference between child porn and someone getting off to their spouse with a 17 year old selfie, that he/she likely sent to their spouse.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Obviously, this must have happened to someone and they raised enough of a stink with their legislator.
I’d love to read the case law on how this came about (no pun intended).
