New Year's Resolutions #H-Town Takeover

Now more than ever we need to promote Coog takeover of Houston. Let’s show our continued movement. My resolutions include:

  1. continuing to include the #H-Town Takeover on my email signature;
    2)wear UH gear in public at least once a week;
    3)promote the UH, alums, and programs whenever the opportunity arises. This means learning as much as I can about our successes, rankings, successful alums, and the campus.
  2. enjoy our UH potential now and in the future

I’d be interested in learning your UH resolutions.

Since I’ve only been a booster for the past 6 months, and first time season ticket holder. I feel like I still have much to learn as far as what being a true alumni supporter really means, but so far I’m really enjoying the experience. I never thought my pride for UH would increase after graduation.

One thing is for sure I need more UH accessories in my office :grin:

  1. Keep buying and requesting UH gear from stores.
  2. Give back to UH and encourage others to do so whenever they are able. (Even a few dollars makes a difference)

Academy in Pearland Parkway had a bunch on the clearance tables in the last few days. It’s just off the corner of FM 518 and Pearland Parkway, other end of the shopping plaza from HEB.

Mine is to attend more basketball games and baseball games. Football is great but it’s time for me to give others equal support

I am not going to reduce wearing my UH attire to only once a week and I don’t do New Year’s resolutions.

I just cleaned out my closet and put 21 UH t-shirts, sweatshirts, and polos in the give away bag for whichever clothing donation solicitors calls me first. That left me with only 38 UH t-shirts, sweatshirts, and polos in my closet. Plus I have 4 UH jackets and wind breakers, 2 UH heavy coats, and 5 more sweatshirts in the closet in my spare bedroom. Oh yeah, I also have a couple in my coat closet downstairs. My wife says I have a problem. I think the problem is we don’t have enough cold weather to wear all those jackets and wind breakers.

Well, now I have more room in my closet for new UH stuff. :slight_smile:

I would add:
State “Go Coogs” to whomever you see wearing Coog apparel.
Flash the Coog Paw whenever a fellow Coog, says ""Go Coogs to you.

I’ve tried to get better about this but many times I’m thinking of some thing completely different when people do that to me. I forget that I’m wearing a Cougar shirt or whatever and just give a confused look.
