Go Cleveland Barons. Yes that was an NHL team for two seasons in the mid 70s.

I maybe one of the few living people who have been to a Cleveland Barons game.

I went to a bunch of early 2000s Stars-Wings games. Those were some fun ones, especially since a large percentage of the crowd were Red Wings fans who were from Michigan originally. Always felt like good vs evil.

We’ll see if that Tempe project gets approved. It’s still up in the air. It if isn’t…then a move could be in order.

100k’s of transplants from Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania etc…
I saw Wayne Gretzky play an exhibition game at The Summit. He had like seven assists. What a game he had.

I would think we have as many transplants from Hockey country if not more.

The Dallas Stars probably have put pressure on the NHL to not open the Houston market. Just a guess Houston has long deserved an NHL team.
